ABOUT Us
The Interactive Auctions product was born out of 15+ years of data communications and enterprise web development. This, combined with the advent of wireless broadband, enabled the team to develop the auction system with its streaming of messages, web content, video and audio. Much expertise was also gained through the earlier development of a real-time internet auction system for Toyota New Zealand.
The development team's methodology is to build systems that are robust, scalable and use an enterprise architecture with a focus on Rich Internet Application (RIA) design. The core technologies are Enterprise Java and Adobe Flex and Adobe Flex Data Services, however the staff are also well versed in eCommerce, Customer Relationship Managment and Geospatial Information systems.
As an added extra, our strengths in analysis and design enable us to integrate into external systems, eg automating the production of a catalogue from a client's database.
